A study in balance and restraint, this two-part stoneware piece brings structure and softness into quiet conversation. The bowl—once spherical—is now a compressed, held form, resting atop a base of four slender tubular legs. Made entirely of clay, both components were hand-built and high-fired, their survival a testament to considered construction and timing. The matte white glaze settles gently over a gritty stoneware body, allowing the texture to catch light with subtle depth. Sculptural yet functional, this work sits comfortably in both gallery and domestic space.
